Quite the opposite Qruel... nick cage is a HUGE comic book fan, he actually has a Ghost Rider tattoo they had to cover up for the film.

Even his name is from comics... he was born Nicholas Kim Coppola.... nephew to Francis Ford Coppola. He changes his name early in his career. The assumed surname is inspired by Marvel Comics character Luke Cage, a streetwise superhero.

I actually thought the movie was ok. Whats wrong with Nicolas Cage being Ghost Rider?

Whenever a new comic book movie comes out, the nerds are all out in force - saying they feel "betrayed" and all that crap. What more do you want? Who would have played Ghost Rider better then Cage?

Get a girlfriend, get a haircut, and get laid. Ghost Rider was a good movie.

I dont know whats worse the "comic nerds" hating it or someone actually thinking it was good movie. Granted Cage wasnt the only problem here, it had a long list of problems including bad script, effects kinda sloppy in some spots, mediocre directing, and a plot that was just so so.
