You know, I find this video to be really depressing, seeing what's happened to the venerable series in recent years. For me the Sonic series will only encompass all the games released up to Sonic and Knuckles. (Including the Game Gear games.)
Hey, if the GBA and DS games are included on the list, why not the GG games?

I didn't realize how MANY sonic games there were... I kinda stopped playing them after Sonic and Knuckles... never made the jump to any of the later Sega consoles... interesting.
