I had this game for years before starting it a few months ago with all the graphic upgrades. Awesomely great game that STILL beats the crap out of pretty much everything thats come out fps-wise. I skipped most of the comments in case of spoilers
Playing in darkness with head phones is some of the best fun I've had with my pc. Including pron. Seriously.

I hope you dont mind me sending you a pr. Just wanted to say that I found what you wrote on a thread about a dawkins video quite thought provoking. In fact it, and the link, have added to my understanding of what I think is going on in the universe. What you said in the last paragraph and, your own spin on Pascal sounds pretty good to me and I think it sums up how I feel better than I could myself. I'm enormously grateful for that. Thanks!

haven't read the thread so maybe this has been brought up already, but I would have invoked Pascal's Wager, which basically says there is no downside to believing and a potentially great upside:

Pascal actually sounds kind of cold and calculating the way his Wager is described -- almost like "OK, I hereby decide to believe in God for the purposes of insuring myself against the possibility of fiery damnation" -- dunno if that was how he meant to be perceived.
I believe in God and my own spin on Pascal is this: belief and faith in God grants me a certain extra measure of strength and peace of mind, and that is a good thing no matter what. So even if there is no God, not only do I "lose nothing" as Pascal put it, but I gain something in that instance too.

Thanks for those Conan clips! My dad really would have enjoyed those. His mother was from County Kerry and his father was from County Cork, and fortunately a couple of years before he died he got to finally visit Ireland and the places of his parents childhood. It's too bad those videos aren't embeddable.
I hope you do make it to diamond and make an Irish channel. Seriously. I know you're bronze right now, but it's never too soon to think about it. I was bronze once too, and if I can make it then you can too. Keep at it, bro.

I'll try and keep up the submissions, I tend to spend more time watching other peoples stuff than finding new stuff! The stuff I do submit often seems to be irish-y, I have a voyeuristic addiction to watching peoples irish holiday youtube videos! My secret shame

It makes me sad to watch bills, etc being voted on where Parliaments or Congress haven't actually read the bill (or had the text available to read.)

Thanks for posting this, I've been trying to hear as much as I can. Out of the 450 million people in the eu I'm one of the 4.5 million that will get a vote on this. Thing is they (eu) have already decided they are going to press on regardless of the result. Not exactly democratic is it?
